Patrons can check the status of their requests themselves by logging into their ILL accounts.
Or we can do it:
- Log on to ILLiad.
- In the Search Requests area (top left), enter the patron’s username in the User Information search box.
- Use the buttons to the right (i.e., the paper/pencil and cancellation sign) to select the search parameters. For example: to search for cancelled requests, click the cancellation sign, and then click “Search.“
- Double-click on the relevant record to open it.
- Check the OCLC status in the top right box to determine the request’s status. (The History tab may also show useful information.)
Note: Remind patrons that they can also check the status of requests by logging on to their ILL accounts and “tracking” their items.
