When a request is sent to a lending string, it sometimes comes back to us without being filled. These unfilled queue.
- Double click to open the queue.
- Open the request.
- Check the “Not Wanted After” date.
- If the date was prior to today, cancel the request with the reason, “We could not fill your request by your deadline.”
- If the date has not yet passed go to the lower OCLC tab and process the request as you would if it were a new request.
- If there are not available lending libraries left in any of the records for the title, click the button to add a flag, and select “Need help finding.”
- Save your changes.
- Route the request to “Awaiting Extended Searching.”
