Communications is responsible for overseeing library-wide communications and public relations.
This includes:

  • Serving as a liaison to University News Services
  • Managing the Libraries’ social media profiles
  • Providing content  for the Libraries’ website and blog
  • Working closely with Library IT staff to ensure consistency for the Libraries’ website
  • Updating and maintaining the digital signage in the lobby of Cooper Library
  • Promoting the activities of library staff including exhibits, events, programs, and publications
  • Acting as a resource person for public relations issues
