Password or Username Reset

If a patron forgets his/her password:

They will need to contact CCIT.  Since we now use LDAP to authenticate, they should be using their IROAR/Blackboard password.

If a patron forgets his/her username:

Do NOT create a new account.  Duplicate account requests will be deleted.  A patron should be using their university username (to authenticate via LDAP).  To find a patron’s username if they still cannot remember it:

1. Log on to ILLiad.
2. In the Search Users area (top center), type patron’s Name, then “Search.”
3. View the appropriate record to find the patron’s username.
