Thank you notes are small slips we place inside items before packaging them for shipping to the lending library. This is a small gesture that lets lenders know we appreciate them and helps maintain positive relationships with other libraries.
The theme of the thank you notes is rotated on a monthly basis. These slips always contain the Clemson University Libraries logo and some derivative of the phrase “thank you for sharing your collection with us.” They also include a picture that fits a theme for the month.
Thank you notes are often created in PowerPoint and then printed either in color or on colorful paper. The borrower is responsible for making the thank you notes.
