Teri Alexander

Teri started work at CU Libraries in 1987 as the Circulation Manager which included service desk operation, stack maintenance and reserves.  Over time she has participated in several initiatives including offering of new services such as a document delivery service (1989) and friendly takeover of copier services from Student Government (1993).  Circulation is such a diverse mix of services to students and over the years some have moved to other units only to circle back again!  Circulation has had a hand in pascal, article delivery, media, pop reading, vending, scanning and a variety of services and collections over time.  In the early 2000’s she had the opportunity to add oversight of the facilities needs in Cooper which ultimately led to the official forming of a Facilities Office in 2012. Daily work life is both interesting and challenging! When asked why she hasn’t retired she replies “As long as I’m still having fun, I’ll be here!”

She graduated from Berea College in Berea, KY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.   Her heart belongs with 3 grand-daughters in Indiana (and a 4th one on the way).
