Kirstin came to work at the Clemson University Libraries in 2010, first as circulation weekend supervisor, then as circulation night shift technical assistant, and finally as circulation day shift technical assistant before, with the launch of TigerPrints, taking on her new role as Institutional Repository Coordinator in 2014. This new position entails managing the TigerPrints website, researching faculty CVs, and uploading new content. The best part of Kirstin’s job is participating in the Open-Access community and giving people all over the world access to Clemson’s research.
Kirstin is originally from Naples, Florida, where she received her degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Social Sciences and worked in the public school system. Kirstin moved to South Carolina in 2006 with her two children, Megan and Andrew, and her husband Kelly, who also works at Clemson in CCIT. She has two cats, NiteNite and KitKat, and enjoys debating about politics and religion – two things which you apparently aren’t supposed to talk about.
