Jessica Kohout-Tailor holds a B.A. from Wofford College and MLIS and SLIS degrees from the University of South Carolina. She also has her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina. As the Undergraduate Experience Librarian, she provides information literacy instruction, support, and outreach for first year students. Before joining Clemson Libraries, she was a school librarian in Lexington County School District One and Richland School District One. Her research interests include information literacy instruction and the information behaviors of students.
She is an animal lover and she and her husband have a rescue dog and cat. She is also a huge fan of The Golden Girls and enjoys vegan cooking. Originally from Easley, SC, she is excited to be back in the area and to be a part of the Clemson University family!
