Library Faculty Merit Compensation Process Review Committee, 2018-2019

Charge: Using feedback and outcomes from the 2018 launch of the merit compensation scheme, review the rubrics across all units, with the aim of making merit-worthy activities equivalent, measurable, and comparable across all levels and categories; evaluate and recommend appropriate changes to improve and streamline the review process itself, including the disclosure of rankings; and, upon completion of review, summarize and present recommendations to a full meeting of the Libraries faculty.

Membership: Regular faculty, any rank, elected by the regular faculty. Two representatives from I&RS; one representative each from the remaining units. Chair to be elected by the committee. At least three members at the associate or full librarian level.

Term: until completion of charge.
