The Special Collections Library is the branch of Clemson University Libraries that houses the University Archives, manuscript collections, rare books, photographs and artifacts.  Material in the Special Collections Library includes many unique items of considerable historical significance.

The Special Collections Library provides preservation of these materials through proper storage and handling, as well as organization and arrangement for access by a variety of researchers including the University community, outside scholars and the general public.

The goal of the Special Collections Library is to advance scholarship and further the educational, research, and service missions of the University.
