Richard Kyle and Paul Best along with their student assistants are the first point of contact for IT issues in the Libraries. If you aren’t sure who your support ticket should go to, contact Richard or Paul.
They provide support for all library staff computers as well as public access computers in Cooper Library, Gunnin Architecture Library in Lee Hall, Special Collections and Archives in the Strom Thurmond Institute Building, Education Media Center in Tillman Hall, and the Library Depot at the Research Park in Pendleton. This includes computers in the 204 classroom, the Macs in Room 412 and in Learning Commons East and West.
There are computers in the library that Richard and Paul do not support but you can send any issues to them and they will make sure that the right group gets notified so the issue is handled.
Richard and Paul are also the first contact for issues concerning My Library Account as well as the proxy server which provides remote (off-campus) access to library journals, databases, and e-books.
